Since 2016, Jérôme DUCLOUX is the new winemaker of the property.
Chateau de Croignon's goal is its goal : the quality of the product. Several of his sons joined him to continue the great adventure of the Château de Croignon.
This Adventure started in October 2013.
Reading an unlikely announcement, 4 long-time friends wine lovers, could realize an old dream: acquiring together a wine estate. Atypical, their will is to apply their adage "Plaisir et Partage" ie "Pleasures and sharing".
Thus began the project of the Château de Croignon, a property in AOC BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR, consisting of a vineyard restructured in 2000 : 5 hectares of a varied limestone and gravelly, very qualitative terroir.
It has a geographical advantage: near Bordeaux and Saint Emilion, it has a name and a recognized production, initially exclusively for export (Russia, China, Germany, ...).
The necessary renovation of the winemaking and vinification cellar, storage buildings, barrel cellar and 19th century typical Bordeaux House adds to the challenge.
Today, more than 40 people have joined them in this adventure: investors absolutely, but all sharing the same passion and friendliness.
